now that i have lunged myself into being such a prototypical nerd with nerd jokes and all i sometimes ask myself what is intelligence. is it something that you are born with? is it something that you can have and lose? i never thought of myself as being “dumb” but i for sure admit that i didnt give a shit about school until about 4 months ago. until now its been a whole lot of umm.. “experiences”. I kind of kick myself in the ass for changing NOW instead of 6 years ago but its all a part of growing up and gaining those experiences so hopefully i can pass them on to my future kids. on the other hand, i feel lucky that i was able to find something that i have a passion for and that now i am actually working toward something that i want to do rather than going through the motions and just waiting for class to get out so i can go rage at clubs or play some video games. i never thought that there would be a day that i actually wanted to take a quiz or midterm and see if i can get every question right. today, while i was walking to my truck after taking my microbiology midterm i couldnt wait to look up questionable answers that i had on my phone. luckily, i got the question about endospores and the dipocholinic acid along with the ester or ether linkages that go with gram + or - bacteria.
